First thing - get some heated grips. The only choice whether you are after the best for the money or just the best is "Oxford." The neat thing about heated grips is they are always there waiting to be needed no matter what gloves you chose for the ride.

After that a heated jacket liner. Not a vest. This one is good.
My guy has the 19 1000xt with the heated grips, he said it's so much better than his heated gloves he's been using for years, so I'll look into them. I abhor being cold which is what stops me from riding during the winter and spring. I did get some really good boots which keep my feet warm so at least I can feel if I'm shifting now

I do have a heated liner, it's a godsend!!

I can't believe I went years without any heated gear. Last year I put on the Oxford Touring heated grips, and fell in love. Used them during the summer a lot more than I thought I would.

This year I invested way too much money in heated gear. I pick up the waterproof/breathable heated jacket this week to go along with my heated socks and pants

I'll look into the heated grips. Thank you!

I'm also probably going to do a wrap on my bike depending on how difficult it is. I found one I absolutely love and I'll get a small bit and see how it works for the hand grips that are going to go on before I take on the rest of the bike.

Welcome Julie! One of my favorite pieces of asphalt is just up Hwy. 14 from you. Turn left at Lyle for the Clickitat River road.

You will love your Wee more as the miles go by. So happy for you!

I'm already loving the bike, and it' just has 700 miles on it. Although to be fair, I believe 200 are just mine. I had help breaking it in while the weather got better.

What a face! Pure beauty!

Here's my girl (1 of 3 pups in our house):
