Almost new year ! :)

It was a real puzzle to find out a location to my license plate , but its not enough to stop me , I also installed an aluminium bracket that will hold my brake / turn signal led strip, front turn signals are installed but not connected yet, thinking about an enduro / mx rear fender would be cool looking !

Front wheel weight

Here's the front wheel weight along with some other things

Complete Front wheel with Shinko 804 dual disc and tire : 29lbs / 13kg

Calipers: 2lbs each / 0.9kg

Wheel axle 1lb / 0.45kg

Does anyone know how much does front dr650 wheel weights ? i've Googled a lot but not found what i've been searching for.

Any information would be greatly appreciated, as i plan to replace front-end and rear wheel for lighter components, i already have outer dr650 fork tubes in stock, and i already know i will loose a front disc by going spoked

From my search, front 110/80/19 shinko 804 tire weights 4.72 kg / 10.3 lbs so the complete wheel assy would weight about 18.7 lbs / 8.5 kg

I did weight the bike last night with aprox. 10 liters of gas / 2 gallons , and it's at 407 lbs / 185 kg

The super enduro Strom !

Here it is, The super enduro strom 420lbs wet, i managed to fabricate a lightweight aluminium rack, didn't like the look of the fender, i think this look much better and pratical

i've put some mitts on the handlebar so i will ride next week.

Already test rode last sunday and made a Youtube video " Petite balade Naked DL650 Vstrom " with acceleration test

There is a signifiant difference in the acceleration and it feel quicker, the bike will wheelie easy

The 15th should be above freezing all day! Looking forward to seeing some pics of this bike on the street. Looks great, you might need to extend your sidestand a bit more.
