Hi everyone!
I recently got myself a 2009 V-strom, after having ridden old motorcycles for years. I have owned a K100, R65, GTR1000, GT550, XJ900f, VF750a.
The common denominator: They're all old and have a shaft drive.
I don't have a license to drive a car, so motorcycle all the way, and public transport (which is very awesome here in NL)
But yeah, modern brakes, suspension and frame makes a hell of a difference, so I'm more than happy to make the transition to a modern bike.
Some other things:
Photography is one of my favourite pastimes (Trouwfotografie en Fine Art door Patrick den Drijver - Home), I occasionally do weddings, but most of the time it's fine-art photo's, often starring pretty women in dresses:
My girlfriend is a very willing and awesome model, which makes things very easy as well.
For a living I teach kids science, physics and biology (middle school/high school) and in my free time I love to read sci-fi, hang out with friends playing boardgames, Go, or miniature wargames.
