Me and my DL650 moving cross country to Miss!

Title says just about all there is to say. Relocating in May from the Seattle, WA area to Mississippi.

I've yet to meet a person from Mississippi that I like, so I have a feeling i'm going to hate it there, but at least I'll get to be with my bike finally (oh and wife and kid too hehe). I've been "away for work" for the last 9 months and really miss riding.

This should probably have been a FB status update and perhaps not a thread.

Home is what you make of it. I was raised in Central TX now live in the arid west. Whole different world but plenty of open roads. If you love history you are right in the middle of plenty.

Just read your post - don't give up on Mississippi, I (wife&kids too) was assigned to the last state I wished to live in. But once I got there, it was GREAT. The people are some of the best I found in the US and Europe. Loved the outdoors (since it is mostly woods).
Long story - we ended up spenting almost 20 years there and loved it.

I'm a transplant here too...from New Mexico and So. Cal. Living here takes some getting used to. I'm near Hattiesburg...hit me up if you want to ride.
