Talking YELLVILLE , Arkansas

I have a request from any trooper in the area of YELLVILLE, AR. My Father is interested in a hotel/motel/lodge that's for sale. Buffalo Point Lodge, who knows a little history about the place?? If someone is doing a ride, could you maybe take a few pictures of it and the property with the summer green in bloom?? Photobucket would be great. We have only winter pictures.

Of course I (my father) will pay for a burger and soda, gal of gas if it's out of the way. Please PM me,

Address is 13823 HWY 14 SOUTH

Hey...My 1st post here...

I just 'lucked up' on this thread while doing research for a friend considering a WeeStrom.

I will be back in the area early in July & normally take my V-Strom thru Marshall then Harrison on the way home.

I can take a detour when in Marshall, head to Yellville & loop back to Harrison.

Let me know if there are any specifics you want me to cover besides the pictures.

I received your PM & tried to reply by PM, but unsure if it went thru.

Regardless, no problem with the little detour. I even plan to expand it some out of Marshall & explore some new twisties (especially Hwy 341, aka Push Mountain Road) that I have heard good things about. I might spend the night in the area so as not to be in a rush.

Normally I like to run the roads around Jasper, such as the most excellent Hwy 123 (aka The Little Dragon ) south to north from Hwy 7 to Mt. Judea, and also Hwys 374, 74 & 7, and also Eureka Springs (Hwy 62), Beaver Lake & Table Rock Lake, & Hwy 187 into Beaver...

If you ever get the opportunity to visit the area, give the areas & roads I mentioned a run....really good riding & scenery!

Also...I run with a Mi-Fi Wireless Hot Spot on rides, but Virgin Moble (Sprint) service is very spotty to non existent in the more remote areas, so will get the pics to you asap, likely later on the 5th or sometime on the 6th.

Let me know if you want me to post them here, sent via email or PM.

I Just arrived at my Dad's place in Montana as my cell phone began to recieve text's, damm thing wouldn't stop signaling, thought I broke my phone. It was from LG1V-Strom , very nice long description about this area.
Dad and I went to his office computer and opened the pic's - he couldn't believe a complete stranger would be so kind and do what LG1V-Strom did for us. This TROOPER community of people we have here are just the best

THANK YOU LG1V-Strom........ I OWE YOU LUNCH BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!

Still waiting for a reply from the bank if they accepted his offer. If all goes well he might do a small continental breakfast for motel guests, and a possible light lunch menue - cold cuts and cheeses with bread varieties, a europen thing. Maybe a soup as well. He refuses to do much cooking, but yeah, I already told him about the trooper community. He's looking forward and will give a ?-% discount to fellow troopers . But it's all still in the air, hope to know more in a few months.
