Southeast Alabama

Hello...I'll be in the Dothan area a few days in December and was looking for a couple of loop rides to do during my stay.

I'm looking for;
Scenic
Local history or sites
200/300 miles
Backroads
Pavement

If you have a favorite ride(s) that fits that bill, please let me know.

Thanks!
Ken

I haven't been on these rides, but I had done some research earlier and found this site. This link is for rides in pdf, but there are also rides in formats for your GPS.

That's a good suggestion, and a great museum. I went there on my last trip to 'bama.

There is a new site that just opened in Dothan. Country Crossing, supposed to be a Branson of Alabama. Other than that you are central to a lot. Panama City, Appalachicola, Destin, Vortex springs are south of you, Kolomoki indian mounds and Fort Gains to the East, Historic Eufaula north. Columbus,Ga is also north and has the brand new Infantry museum as well as the civil war naval museum.
A lot to do within 2 hour ride.
