ride report

Well strommers I know it was short notice ,
You guys missed out on a fantastic ride. the weather was fantastic.
The roads were clear of 4 wheel combatants . At one point the only trafic I came across was a Squid on a crotch rocket. I came up on him and he finaly missed a turn I hope he didnt feel "pushed" by the little wee . I saw lots of adventure bikes in the suches area .Came across 2 other dl's a wee and a vee. I think I am going to make this a weekly trip its so nice up there in the suches /blairsville area.
The route today was 985/60to suches /right180 /right 129 to cleveland left 254 /right 365 turns into 985 239 miles @ 150 turns
a good meeting place might be the chevron at 400and 60 below dalonega
any one interested in going next week let me know . there are several forest roads that look promising.
later all

First welcome to the site Blue Bandit!

Been several local rides started over on the GaG2g thread:
https://www.stromtrooper.com/showthread.php?t=26691

I've sometimes found it difficult to get much interest but when it works out it's always a nice ride and some great folks. Some members might be subscribed to the GaG2g thread.

Put my bike in for the valve check and other service this weekend and will not get it back until next weekend but the first time my schedule alllows after that I'll be riding that area.

Lots of weekend mornings I can be found at Riders Hill with a cup of coffee in a rocking chair about the time they open.

Hope to see ya out riding sometime!

Riders Hill is just north of Dahlonega on Hwy 60;
http://www.ridershill.com/

And then on up Hwy 60 in Suches GA there's Two Wheels Only;
http://www.twowheelsonly.com/

Both local hangouts and in the middle of the best riding N. GA has to offer. You'll meet lots of riders at both these places.
