ride/hike Red River Gorge 10/4

Anyone interested in meeting to ride to Red River Gorge the weekend of 10/4? I'm in Louisville, so would be leaving 7-8am (probably).

Thoughts are:

The gravel road up tunnel ridge road and maybe a hike or 2 there.
Gray's arch (3-4mi)
Auxier ridge and courthouse rock (4.5mi)

The gravel road to:
rock bridge and the hike out to it. (1.5mi)
maybe turtle back arch (2mi ? out/back from rock bridge)

tower rock (1/2m)

gravel road to:
princess arch (1/2m)
chimney top (2m)

I've got maps/guidebooks so trail miles are fairly accurate totals; except turtle back arch which is a guestimate.

Right now, the forecast looks to be mid 70s and sunny. It is KY though, so that could change by the time I finish writing this sentence. :-D

If you are coming in from another direction, the rest area at the Slade exit is a good place to meet. I'll be on a matt black DL650.

Do a google/search for Broke Leg Falls. You are going to be real close to it and it is a great place to stop and just take in some quiet and beauty. From what we can tell, it used to be an 'old' scenic stop on an older main road that does not exist anymore.

A couple of quick links:

That was probably me; I live just off of Goss.

I think I'll have to check out Broke Leg Falls; I had no idea it was there. It's a short ride up 77 towards Frenchburg, and it looks like it's worth the side trip.
