Log-in times-out while authoring a new thread

I can spend countless hours on logged onto the forum but if I start a new thread and take, oh lets say, 15-20 minutes to finish and submit it, I'm asked to log back in first. Often thats not an issue,... after logging back in my new thread is "entered" and alls well.
But if I take longer to compose a thread, say 30 minutes, after logging back in, the whole stinking composure is just plain gone,... lost.
Any suggestions? Thanks, dave

Compose the message in notepad or some other text editor, then start new thread on the forum and paste it in.

Or, right before you post it, highlight and copy. That way when it eats it you just repaste it.

How do you spend 30 minutes composing a message? One or two minutes, maybe, but 30?
