Reporting spam posts

First of all I'd like to say thanks to all the people who report spam posts it makes the job of the Mods and Admins much easier.

If you see a series of posts by a spammer you only need to report that user once. You don't need to report every occasion that that user posts. The tool that is used to clean things up will automatically delete all posts by a banned spammer.

What is the best way to notify an admin or moderator that spam has just been posted?

Best way?

Likely the best way is to hit the caution triangle in the upper RH corner of the post...

but, I'm not a mod, so I don't really know...

I guess I had never paid attention to the triangle! You are probably right. If not, please let us know.
