What is the process to create a sticky?

Could admin please advise, what is the process to create or recommend that a sticky be created on a thread? While it may be second nature to most riders, there are a lot of new to V-Strom riders that can benefit from the advice given on riding technique.
One of these can be found under the "Introductions" with the title "Totally New to This" (https://www.stromtrooper.com/stromtro...tally-new.html). The advice offered by PTRider and cavenger, in my opinion should be a sticky under "Riding Proficiency".
Perhaps one of the administrators can compile a thread containing these helpful comments into a sticky? Your thoughts...

Stickies are moderator decisions. I'll take a look. I have a feeling there aren't a lot of sticky threads in Riding Proficiency and that favors creation of one there.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Thanx GW. I'm sure that the new riders will find the guide informative.
