Riding Schools

I had to take a riding school class many years ago while in the Air Force to be able to ride my "then" bike on base. it was a great class for beginners and experienced alike.

Are there any classes given down here in the South close by to the gulf states?

While not the only option, a good place to start is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). They have affiliate groups all over the country that offer riding classes of various skill levels.

http://www.msf-usa.org/

Click on the students tab and enter your zip code to search for nearby classes.

In my town the community college is the biggest source for the MSF classes that is not affiliated with a particular dealership or brand of motorcycle.

Ride Like a Pro - George and three in Florida
Pro Rider - Alabama, Georgia
Either of these schools will have classes more advanced than an MSF class if that’s what your looking for. Either are well worth a long ride and overnight stay.

Best class I've ever taken in my 55+ years of riding is the Lee Parks Advanced Rider course. Not cheap and unfortunately, no locations in the south or east.
