When the body changes from human to wolf, the controls become hard to handle and no helmet will fit. DAMHINT!

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

No guess exactly why. But, ask any cop, emergency room staff, mental health worker or druid and you'll hear that a LOT of weird stuff is linked to full moon.

How about maybe more people go out for night rides when it's full just to see it? That's brought me out more than once, though more often on my mountain bike than moto.

Wish I could read the article but the link doesn't work for me.

Having worked in the emergency services for years, I'll attest to the fact that just about anyone in those fields will swear by this. Yet, to my knowledge at least, there's never been any data confirming it.

I also thought the end of the article was somewhat telling of the researcher's attitude:

Dr. Redelmeier said he takes the results of his research seriously.

"The average ride on a motorcycle is more dangerous than a drunk driver with no seatbelt traveling the same distance," he said.

"I spend very little time these days riding a motorcycle.

If it's a good day to wash the bike, it's a better day to ride the bike.
