Truck tries to run bike off the road (video)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dONyv-Cwkoo

The video looks pretty bad at first, truck clearly coming right into his lane.

But then you read about the back story. This guy and his buddy ride up and down this street all of the time doing top speed runs. This guy has a house on the road with little kids playing outside.

I have to say I 100% side with the guy in the truck. I'd contact the police and file complaints but if nothing was being done about it.. I may do the same if I felt my kids are in danger!

It looks lke the guy in the truck was trying to get the bike to stop/slow down he clearly went about it the wrong way. He then backs up to talk to him and what point the guys buddy gives him a cheap shot head butt with his helmet on.

I'm with you. I don't care if it's a bike or a car... don't endanger people, especially children, with excessive speed in a residential area.

I don't care about any "back story", you don't protect your family by intentionally putting them and your truck in the path of an oncoming motorcycle and then stop and confront these two hooligans! Idiots on both sides.

He gave him time and space to slow down and go by him. If he was trying to hit him he would have. He was trying to get his attention because his kid was riding his bike Down the road and he went by him at 170mph. Not saying it was the right thing to do.. But that's 255 feet per second in a residential area. If someone did that around my kids id probably try and run them off the road too! Maybe he will slow down now.

Trashy rednecks all around. The motorcycles shouldn't be riding like idiots, especially in residential areas. The rednecks in the truck shouldn't driving down the wrong side of the road at a motorcycle in the name of their children's safety, with their children in the car! I say we let natural selection sort this one out on its own.

1) don't let your kids play in the road
2)Don't ride your motorcycle like an idiot. THough I don't agree that this is a "residential area" more like a country road with houses on the sides. But still don't ride like a moron.
3) Don't try to claim "Child safety" while at the same time trying to run motorcycles off the road with your F-150 shit wagon.
4) Don't confront people in the middle of the road like that.

Idiots on both sides and I bet the two folks in the truck were pretty closely related before they fired off a couple of kids.

they were lucky it weren't me, while I wouldn't have stopped (would have involved the PD long before that incident if they were routinely racing on the street), if I were a passenger in that truck, I prolly would have got out after the head butt and kicked the bikes on their side, and then maybe got in drivers seat and ran over the bikes

1) kids dont generally play in the road.. but running after a ball happens and a bike moving at 255 feet per second does not give much time to get out of the way.
2) they are riding past the guys trailer park/campground at 176mph. Campgrounds are full of kids.
3) agreed though I dont believe he was trying to run them off the road, I think his intent was to get them to stop/slow down he just didn't go about it very well to say the least.
4) agreed.
