That would be good, my tourmaster advanced is good to at least 25, lowest ive gone, and gets sticky at 70, so a 50 and up jacket would hit a good spot.

"Examples of your setup/jacket/vest with links please"

The vest i got a sales at a BMW and Ducati dealer. Pricey as hell new and cheap and crap on sale. They just reside in a dry bag full of water for the hot days. Wally World sells dry bags that will hold water too for a few bucks.
My setup is a what ever garment i choose to ride in that day. Aerostich, Helite, BMW Savanna or Cycle Gear jackets are obvious.
I can tell you that if you get caught in a frog strangler downpour with the Darien jacket and forget to close the under arm vent you can get soaked.
You can find some great buys on different forums. I got a like new Darien jacket for $200 or so on the ADV site a few years ago. i got a Darien light jacket from a friend who spilled oil on the pants and couldn't stand the stain and dumped the suit. Cost me $75.
Shop around. Be patient.

I also think 50 and up is good with the AirGlide set at least for me. I have ridden in the 40's with it before I got the Moto X set and that was a bit too much for anything over 10-15 minutes. The Moto X set is good to around 75 as long as it's not stupid humid. I rode last winter down to 14 in the Moto X and with layers I was still nice and toasty with my heated grips.

I've worn Olympia Airglide for years. I have a couple old aerostich suits in the closet but I like the ventilation the airglide provides.

14 tooth for me

Corazzo. Higher than your price limit, but good jackets. Read about the construction and features for $300. I've got the older 5.0 model of the current 6.0 jacket, it supplements my Darien jacket very well for spring-fall. Other models available, too.

We went down this path when we were looking for a summer jacket, but might still above your price range even in the USA

When you say "we" are you talking about your wife? I ask because i dont know where to start with her and she doesnt like typical womens jacket cuts. She's never had a jacket so its flying blind.

Lots of rec's for the olympia airglide. Any input on sizing? Im 6', 200 lbs. I usually buy larges in everything, but at that size some cuts are a little tight.

Yes I am talking about my partner, she also does not like the cut of women's jackets but loves her Klim gear.

Cheers
