I made good use of the 2 liter water bladder that zips to the back of my Olympia Motoquest 3/4 length coat. On warm days, I fill it completely with ice, then add 8-12 ounces of fluid. This method allows me to drink ice cold liquids until the next gas stop.
After a long day of severe headwinds on the slab with an 80mph speed limit, I stopped in Wall, SD. The Sunshine Inn would be my home for the next two nights. It was a clean, comfortable room with affordable rates, just north of the Badlands.
