Long Road Trip Report - How To?

I have finally completed a writeup of a double cross country road trip I did in the past year. (across Canada in 2017, back across the US this spring) I want to post it here in multi-parts, essentially 1 post per day of the trip, with a couple photos for each day. I've seen several like this. Just wondered if somebody could give me a few how to pointers. If I do it over the course of a couple of weeks, how do I keep it all in the same thread?

Hi Frank,

Start a thread and start typing. DOn't overdue the typing as attention spans can be short.

For adding pictures there are two ways to do it.

1) get a web-hosting service too host your pictures. Once you have the pictures there you can often get a "bbs link" that lets you insert a link to your picture. I use IMGUR but there are others. The link to the picture would look like the following,. except for a square bracket where the Asterisk is:

*img]https://i.imgur.com/SxaxOYW.jpg?2[/img* first bracket like this: "[" second like this "]"

If you quote thios message you will see how the code looks:

You really don;'t kneed to know the code as IMGUR (and otehr hosting services) should generate it for you.

2) A second way to do it is to go to "Manage Attachments" below and upload the pictures. You lose any ability to control where they go as they just end at the end of the message.

The hosting service is preferred.

If you need any help please feel free to ask!

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

Thank you V-Tom. I'm gonna do some trimming and editing before I post because I know I've created something a little too wordy.
