It works okay but sometime the speed slowly drops off.

On the plastic one I had it sometime slowly drops speed, did not work with grip puppies over the grips. Was hoping the metal version would hold well but still release easy

Throttle assist

If you're just looking for something like a throttle lock and not a cruise control, this one comes pretty highly recommended. I'm going to order one for myself. Some more frugal types have made something similar by twisting a heavy wire around the grip to rest on the brake lever.

Get this one. Pretty simple.

DO NOT get this one It slides out of position. I have it and will be gifting it to a cruiser friend that has thicker handles.

I use the second one wit great success.. I use a bit of safety wire to tension it so it holds fine.
