      I had this one, it worked great on the LC1500 and Marauder, they had frames under the motors. I sold it when I sold those bikes, and got the Vstrom. I don't see a way to lift the strom with those supports under the motor. My center stand works for most maintenance, and I 'hang' the bike from the garage rafters while on the centerstand to pull both wheels.

      I have the HF 1500 lb. hydraulic lift and it works great. I got it for $60 on some sale/coupon. A 600 lb. VStrom or 700 lb. ATV I have is barely a load on it. Just be sure to strap it where it can't tip over.

      I have a 1500-lb. capacity motorcycle lift I picked up at HF a couple of years back so I could pull both wheels off my Kawasaki Concours. However, I quickly learned that this particular lift did not work well with the Connie. First, I had to remove the bottom cowling to use it and, even when I did, the two contact rails on the lift were just a little too far apart for solid contact on the bottom of the engine. I made it work with a little creative woodworking, but I was always a bit nervous when I jacked 600 lbs. up and had to do any vigorous work on the bike.
      
      Now a Wee-Strom is in my future and I'm wondering if this lift will be useful with that model. Or, am I likely to run into similar challenges.
      
      Any other HF lift owners out there?
