Pelican case setup

Really impressed with the Twisted Throttle setup considering the roads we were on and the bouncing around it did, one did fall off but I think that was because I hit the case on something and weakened the lock but it was an easy fix with a couple of wire tie straps, lost a couple of kit mounting bolts too but not a big deal had some spares with me. If you are going to use these on rough roads I would recommend putting the tie straps on anyway, just in case.
For the money, I don't think you can beat this setup.

I had the pelican case setup on my KLR was awesome! I was planning on putting the cases on my Wee, but the dealer was only had the adventure so I am going to mount one as a topbox.

On a side note, Pelican will warrenty them out for any damage. You only pay shipping. They double as crash protection!

good to know! i crushed one of my Zuki side cases (the trax knockoff style) and it will be cheper to goto the pelicans than replace the one case. i like the idea that they are designed to break off in an impact rather than getting destroyed like my current ones.

One other note, reverse the mounting kit fasteners so the nuts are on the outside, I bought the Givi bags that fit in the cases and the nuts were wearing on the bags.
Also thread lock them as well.
