Adventuretech Fork Brace and Mirror Risers

Hi everyone,

I'm not entirely sure where to post this, so I thought I would put it here. I ordered the fork brace and mirror risers from Adventuretech and have (now) installled them. I just wanted to post a couple of quick things about these, especially for Canadian buyers.
  1. Rick was really quick about sending the product out, and when it arrived, the taxes were less ($5) than the customs handling fee charged by Canada Post ($10).
  2. The products are super solid.
  3. The installation instructions are great.
  4. There is no accounting for my complete lack of mechanical ineptitude.

The fork brace went on without a hitch. I've already noticed the increased stability in the front, and I'm only riding on the street / highway.

I experienced some difficulty getting the mirrors adjusted just right (aforementioned ineptitude). A quick e-mail to Rick (and a very quick response) gave me the pointers I needed, and I got everything installed properly yesterday. I can now see precisely none of my shoulders in the mirrors, when before they took up about 3/4 of the mirrors.

Thanks @richlandrick for some great products!!!!

Rich is the Man! Always willing to take the time to answer any questions one might have. I have his fork brace, mirror extenders and footpeg lowering kit - awesome stuff!

Two fork braces, two sets of foot peg lowering kits and two axle hex tools here and very pleased with the results. I didn't need to bother Rick because his website gave me all the answers I needed to install the products. Excellent!

Moved to product reviews. It could have gone to members experience with dealers too.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
