Bikemaster "adjustable" aluminum bar risers

Here is a quick review of the bikemaster 15-1987 bar risers. These risers allow you to choose the amount of rise by providing extra plates and bolts. I raised my bars 25mm, I still have two extra plates if I would like to raise it more. These can add 5mm, 10mm or use them both and get another 15mm. I feel that if I decide to add more height, I will need to re-route or replace the throttle cables and brake line.

That said, these risers seem to be well made/finished. I preferred black to try and match the 2014 dl650 handlebar clamps. The bikemaster product is a slightly smaller oval and is a shiny black so they do not match perfect. I was also a bit concerned I would not be able to "line up" the pieces but found they have grooves which makes this process much easier. They also have oblong bolt holes to allow for fitment on handlebar mounts with different bolt spacing.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product, especially for the price. They allow for some options and look pretty good installed. I do not even know they are there "visually" when I am riding the bike.
