Bags are like shoes everyone likes different kinds. Cortech is a good quality bag and Revzilla is a good company plus you earn bonus money for the next purchase. It builds up and the next time you want something you get that much off. It's kinka cool. I personally like the
Bags Connection products (also Revzilla I think or maybe it's Twisted Throttle) they have a gas tank ring that the bag clips onto. The bag doesn't touch your paint. Suzuki paint is soft and scratches easily. Another way to go is you can buy the two rings separately and put them on any bag your buy as long as the bag bottom is ridged enough to hold off the tank. I checked every thread on this site and others and was overwhelmed by the options. I settled for a Joe Rocket Manta bag and couldn't be happier. Not too big, not ugly, and built very well fitting my Vee like it was made for it. I like the magnet application, and have not had any scratching issues. Not that it matters, my Vee has quite a few battle scars!

Nelson Rigg "Adventure". Fits the V Strom tank nicely. Straps easy to fit and loosen for fueling.

I have had magnetic bags come loose. The V Strom has the plastic cowling that keeps the magnetic bags from being secure enough, imo.

I had the Joe Rocket Manta, but was too small for me so gave it to wife for her Rebel 250. Tried about 5 different bags, finally ended up with an expensive one...the Givi XS308. I love it, but it's pricey. Floats over tank...affixed by ring around fuel filler area. Easy to take on and off, no scratches.

I checked out the Cortech before, decent bag, just didn't meet my needs...Revzilla took it back with no questions asked.

Lighten up, Francis. If you can't take some sarcasm, an Internet forum is the last place you should be.

My bag is Cortech from Revzilla. Love the bag, love Revzilla. No, no personal interest. In fact, my son works for Cycle Gear, another great company. It is what it is. Each has it's moments....
