SW Motech Bags Connection "City Bag"

It finally came and the install was quick and easy. 4 bolts and the tank ring bolts down, they you have to fit the bag lock ring and drill 4 holes in the bag plate. I found it fit best pushed all the way forward. At full cock I have about 1/4 inch clearance between the bag and my grips heater switch. On the RS its a non issue.

The bags quality is awesome, first class matirials and construction, but for the 200.00 + cost I would expect no less. Well organized on the inside with little net pouches and compartments along with 2 zippered side pouches. It expands with the release of a zipper and seems to hold everything I will need quick access to like wallet, water bottle and FA. I like it, was a great decision. The cost was a little high but considering the quality and function I guess its reasonable. I only gotta buy it once. Fits the Glee like a latex glove.

As usuall, cust service at Twisted Throttle was superb.

Thanks for the review. I'm looking closely at that very bag and I wondered how it would look/fit on my 2013 DL650, so your info is of great interest to me. I was wondering if it might be a little too big for the Wee for every day use.

I'm curious as to what material the tank ring and the mechanism on the bag that locks to it are made of, it it's more durable than plastic, I'm sold!

I think its perfect for daily use. Gloves, thermos, water bottle, flashlight, wallet, keys and lots of room to spare. One thing you need to remember with these tank lock bags, you lose some space with the tank ring. There is a square hump inside the bag where the top ring bolts on. I thought this city bag might be too big also, then once I put it on I was glad I got it, anything smaller would have been too small for me.

Aluminum lock rings. They go fast, if you want one dont wait too long, I got mine from Twisted Throttle.
