I just watched and agree about the single, intense focus.
I used to tell a non-riding friend this all the time; he always thought riding would be extremely stressful. I told him it's the opposite. You have to tune everything else out. It's also why I didn't even care to listen to music while riding. But I don't even do that in a car anymore.

Music considerably enhances the pleasure of riding a motorbike. When you find a good road and the music you like is playing, the feeling is pure catharsis.
I don't go out on a motorbike without my music. If I forget my intercom and I can't listen to music, I don't go out on my bike. I've been doing this for many years and I can't ride without music.
