Seattle to Forks

Just bought a 2012 Adventurer and looking to ride to Forks and camping then riding 101 back through Aberdeen. Seeing if there is anyone else interested? Only problem for others might be that I'm looking at going Tue-Thur, I work weekends. Weather dependent of course. ImageUploadedByMO Free1363815226.638782.jpg

Great ride if you haven't done it! The 101 through Hoodsport and north is fabulous, especially on a quiet weekday. That's the best time not to get hung up behind slow traffic.

If you can find time to do the side trip out to Cape Flattery, I highly recommend the hike at the end. It's as west as you can get.

Don't forget 112!

Even if you can't get to Cape Flattery,...
Cape Flattery Trail, Neah Bay Washington - Most Northwestern Point
... you should still ride 112 from Port Angeles then loop back to 101 after Clallam Bay. It is one of the two best motorcycle roads in the state when it's dry. Ah, that good old decreasing radius downhill hairpin turn as you approach the water.

Camping at Rialto Beach is great.

Have fun!

+1 on that route. One of the best rides I've ever taken. Ran into some folks who had done that and Hurricane Ridge the same day. The Hoodsport run is pretty sweet as well. As long as you aren't stuck behind a semi or an RV:mrgreen:

So who was drunk... the pavers or planners for Highway 112?

Rode down to Olympia this morning, had breakfast in Ocean Shores, up to Forks for more coffee, sporadic sunshine on 112, along with a im-a-noob ferry ride back.

Those are some crazy odd angles and banks no doubt. There are a couple inside curves that look like they are about to slide down the hill into the sea

Made it this week, 500 plus miles round trip. Hwy 112 was a lot of fun! Camped one night.
