Day ride with a rather diverse group bikes

3 of my neighbors(All ex law enforcement) and I did a fun 300 mile loop ride that went as far as the ocean at Tokeland and Westport.
Bikes included my Strom, an 89 EX500, Road King and a 2012 retro Bonnie.

Lunch in Aberdeen.

Nice bikes! All are worth throwing a leg over. That's about as diverse as it gets. Only thing missing is a home built hardtail chopper.

I ride the same way. Most of my friends have HD Big Twins and Sportsters, BMW's (street and adventure), Buell's, metric sport bikes,
standards, you name it... well, except for home built hardtail choppers.

Did you take 12 over then 101 down to 6 and back via I-5?. You said loop but didn't give the route.

Ron- We went Orting, Graham, Roy Y, Yelm, Bucoda, Chehalis, PeEll, Raymond, Tokeland, Westport and Aberdeen. Freeway back to Olympia where we turned on Marvin Rd. to Yelm, Mckenna, E. to Kapowsin, and home.

Clockwise instead of counterclockwise. Wish I would have been able to pick up with you in Graham when you passed by my house but I worked a late shift last night and didn't get up early enough.

I like 6 through PeEll, the only bad memory is that's the road where my bike got its first speeding ticket.

Nice day for it. I need to get in on these weekday trips before the wife makes me get a full time job.

The Sand Verbena restaurant in Tokeland, across the road from their little casino, is really good.

"Older people who are reasonable, good-tempered, and gracious will bear aging well. Those who are mean-spirited and irritable will be unhappy at every period of their lives.

"Let each of use properly whatever strengths he has and strive to use them well. If he does this, he will never find himself lacking."
