Doh, Down again.

So, I spend all day out dodging black ice and early Christmas shoppers, get to my driveway and decide to pull accross the road to grab my mail.

2 words...SOFT SHOULDER.

Least it wasn't the black ice or Christmas shoppers.

I was thinking that if that was across the street from his house then he's going to be eligible for a FREE midnight Christmas tree here in a couple of years.

True enough, It was a great day for a ride, My Buddy David is always up for some wrist twistin.

Its sad that his cell phone didn't expose the real backdrop, Mt. Hood should have been right there behind me. I love it up here in Christmas tree country.

Nothing to get hurt on here, I was going super slow and my right foot was alrady off the peg to balance the bike when I stopped. I just got to far over and the soft stuff just lit my front tire go bye bye. It only slid like a foot maybe two.

David had to tell me to stop laughing so he could take the photo. But I did get to do a bit of soft off roading to get back on the street.

Never did get the dang mail!

Well glad it wasn't a bad fall! That white was looking too clean anyway right?

I had an experience back in September at a family gathering. I decided to ride the KLX250 to it since there is a nice long gravel road with lots of whoops. I got into the family members driveway (which is gravel) and almost lost it on that little dirt bike, they had just poured fresh gravel and didn't compact it. If I had the Glee I'm sure I would have dropped it. The whole way there I was second guessing myself for riding it, it was all back country road the way there, but the wind blast is really bad without a windscreen.
