NW Wrench Session - Mark Your Calendar for October 12th

Let's do it. The usual routine: Let me know if you plan to attend, and what you want/need to do to your machine. For those that haven't been here, we can handle most anything short of full engine rebuilds in the day.

Tire changes, brake pads, valve check/adjust, etc., are the norm. Plus a healthy amount of BSing, of course. We start at 9 and ideally everyone is done by 5.

Come on down.

Has Don moved to Spokane yet? His knowledge of valve adjusting (actually his kit of shims) is extremely valuable.

I'll be there for the valve check/adjust at a minimum, possible rear tire change if I can get this one to last that long but she's fading fast... and I still haven't bought Don lunch for the last tire he helped me change.

Rob,
I am a "maybe" at this point. Possible interference from hunting season and my wife's birthday. I'll have to see how many things I can squeeze in. But would love to come.

Gentlemen, Where is this going to take place? I am getting close to my first valve clearance check and it would be nice to have someone experienced to watch over me.

Enumclaw, which is about 50 SE of Seattle, is the location.

Brad, where's the pressure from more, season opener or wife's birthday?

Ken, as Don mentioned, he is still around. And his shim kit is already at my place, as I reacquainted myself with the process last weekend. ;-) Oh, and I will give you money to bring more of that great PT Stout.

I'm in.

Fresh back from Alaska as of yesterday. Lots of stories and pictures to share. I hit 14,000 on the ODO in Hyder. Not sure of maintenance yet, but maybe someone can tell me how I'm wearing a hole in my back brake line.
