Do you know what time the events start? I had never been to a motorcycle race, so not sure if i have to buy tix on-line or they are usually available at the gate and what tix to buy or what to really expect...Oh well, i guess i just gonna have to go and see.

You can usually buy ticket at the gate, or online, but quite a few motorcycle places sell the tickets as well. Tickets are available for one to three days If you ride in on a bike, you get to park up next to the paddock. They also have camping on site. They have a vendors midway, and you get full access to the paddock, so you can watch the mechanics working on the bikes. You can find links to all of the info at
http://www.virclub.com/vir/, or

http://www.m1event.com/bigkahuna/kahunatickets.htm.

The races are pretty cool, there are four classes, plus qualifying, and an optional parade lap around the track.
