|jokermtb||I've got an '06 that I regularly get between 51-54 mpg, and still manage to pass many a car on my two-lane road daily commute.....great gas mileage, and spunky performance!|

I have an 09 wee and it has averaged 65mpg on every tank except the last one when I had my wife along, that dropped it to 62. I live in Tn and ride the twisties with some other bikes and can keep up with any of them, so I'm not out running slow down a straight flat road. And yes, I do know how to figure fuel mileage.

|bananaman||Is it the newer (dual plug) V-Strom's that get the better mpg? My 2004 wee gets around 45 just puttin' along. Guess I need to check the valves.|
