The first thing is check there is no slack in your throttle cables, there is a bump on your throttle tube to advance the throttle opening at a given point if you have any slack it will reach that point too early.
You can buy a throttle tamer, it is a throttle tube with the bump a little further away from zero to help smooth things out but still achieve full noise when required.
I fitted a PCFC to my V2 and would say I got next to zero improvements with their maps but when I put the bike on a dyno and had a custom map built there was a considerable improvement, I went from 29ft of torque at 2200rpm to 49ft and it started earlier so I recon that was where the improvement came from.

You can get throttle cable inserts for your twist grip that will slow down the throttle advance and that should make it easier for you. Also, with seat time, the throttle will start feeling better.|

|Kelly2012||I have one- it helped a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. First try keeping your chain slack at 1 1/8" to 1 1/4". In addition to being able to control open loop fueling, a PC will cause your closed-loop mixture to richen 5%, which you can't adjust, so your fuel economy suffers. I'm ok with it though.|

Dynojet PCFC Fuel Controller for 2013 650 ???
I have never enjoyed the feel of how twitichy the throttle is on my bike when going closed to minimal throttle ( low speed handling). I came from a carbarated bike and I'm told that the "feel" is due to it being fuel-injected.
Anyone know if a Dynojet PCFC Fuel Controller or similar type of product will help to smooth out the throttle response??
