There used to be a neat little place in Bridgeport, recently known as Hay Street Cafe. But, it's gone.
There was Michalea's Mexican food too but gone also.
Going North on 395 I usually stop at the Ranch cafe in Olancha. Basic road house fare but kinda classic.

Just spent an hour talking with Chicago . . . very nice fellow who pointed out some of the the better eating in Bishop. Not at all like Bridgeport.
