| Adk Patroller | Franklin Falls Road from Route 3 over Whiteface to Wilmington, Lincoln Pond Road (CR 7) south from Elizabethtown, State Route 30 from SR 3 to SR 86, County Route 26 (Loon Lake Road) from State Route 3 to State Route 30, Moose River Plains Road from Cedar River outside Indian Lake to Lime Kiln Lake off SH 28 by seventh Lake. This last one is a serious dual sport road!! Deep sand and cobble gravel hills!!!!! |

Lake Placid was our destination for the first day, after crossing of the Vermont. I will take a look at thoses routes you suggested. If I have question I will PM you. Thank you

It depends where? The Adirondacks are huge. Some of my favorites: Tracey Road ( county route 6) Ensign Pond Road( county route 4) Route 9N over Tongue Mountain County Route 7 north of Ticonderoga going to Elizabethtown N.Y. Schroon River Road out of Warrensburg N.Y. Around Sacandaga Lake - beautiful road around lake Anywhere around Lake Placid If you wan more detailed information, p.m. me. Adirondack riding, best places? A friend and I will be traveling in Adirondack next week. Any advices on road/places that we should not miss are welcome. Still not decided if we will be there 2 or 3 days. |
