That's no bueno! So the auto shutoff function on the controller on the older types doesn't work as advertised? Hope not.

Dash8 I bought the "older" touring model for 49$ from twisted a few months ago, and love them, heat up quick and only really use the 40% level. Was really easy to install, and well worth it, if they are all sold out, that really sucks.

raoufhakam as per the dealer i bought my Oxford heated grips from (touring, but newer controller) is the only difference between -new- touring and sport models are i think 1/8" in length and the remote mount.
its very good for long rides, but not very useful for city commuting or short rides as they tend to take a bit of time to warm up, and once u take ur fingers off the grips to pull the clutch of front brake for few seconds, it will take your hand a bit of time to warm up on the grips again

fortp I think it is because the touring style has the old controler and the sport style has the latest controler. And that 49$ is a very good price to sell the remaining old stock.
I bought mine there : http://aviciouscycle.ca/mainpages/pr...productid=7136 and they are all about the same price.

But maybe i'm wrong, why dont you ask to people at Twisted Throttle?

Difference between Oxford heated grips?

On Twsited Throttle, I see the touring Oxfords for $49, while the sport style is $89? Any idea what the difference is?
