Seats!

Does anyone in the Indianapolis area have a Sargent World Sport or Corbin Canyon seat I can try out? I don't want to have to order both and pay a restock fee to send one back.

I just received my Sargent seat today. I live in Carmel if you'd like to arrange a time to get together and check it out.

Be aware many people, including me, are of the opinion a Sargent or Corbin seat needs time to adapt to the rider or vice versa. In any case, a short term trial may not be valid. My relationship to my Sargent seat took about 1000 miles to establish itself.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Therein lays my conundrum! I want the seat that is going to be nicest on the boys! I seem to scoot too far forward with the stock seat and I canít tell from photos which of the two have the least forward slant.

I never had that problem. That's really a function of the handlebars.

I thought the same thing about the stock seat, pushes you forward on the "boys". I got a Corbin and it doesnt' do that at all. It slopes back and is much more comfortable.

Just confirmed an order for a Corbin Canyon model yesterday. OEM seat was a real killer, gel seat worked for 2 or 3 years but my old superstructure needs more help nowadays.

Should have an Indy get-together some time. Ride, wrench talk, farkle oogle. Yeah I'm in the Ville but it's only a hundred.
