My Local Road Makes AMA Top 15 List!

I just got my copy of the AMA member magazine and Ohio SR 170 was named number 14 of the top 15 motorcycle roads in the USA. This road is about 2 miles from my house, and has always been one of my favorites. I was pretty shocked it made the list. There are some pretty awesome roads on it (I've ridden a few of them).

Anyways, if someone wants a tour of the local twisty or dirt roads, give me a holler.

Congrats.

Now I haven't been able to find a single road in ohio that doesn't suck, so what is this publication and where can I find your road?

Wow! I find this hard to believe! Seriously!

We ride to Ohio every chance we can get, especially SE Ohio, to ride virtually deserted twisty, windy roads for miles and miles.

Ohio roads are the best kept secret...even to some Ohio residents, I guess! Get yourself down to Marietta and ride all the roads in the National Forest there, for starters.

I find this crazy! I used to live in upstate NY, and put 10k miles on my bike in a course of 2 season. Down here in Ohio, I put on about 250-500 a YEAR because I find the riding so bland. I fuess I need to go out East. I live in Cincinnati and have gone north, but its all flat and all the roads are straight...

Just discovered some treks in KY, but I'll check out the nat'l forest around marietta! I hope your right!

You obviously have no friggin idea about the roads in this state........just ask anybody that comes from out of state "AND IN STATE" to my Laborday moto rally. Eastern.......N Eastern.....South Eastern OHIO and just plain ole Southern Ohio, has some roads that would make you giggle like a school girl. Still don't believe me......just come to the rally or "actually get out and ride around this great state".

Agreed!!!!

..Tom

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)
