There was a lot of gravel in the turns when I was there last month. Lots of clouds in the sky too. Hope you guys miss that stuff!

What a day!!

Well, We started the day riding some GREAT roads!! Ohio 536 was our first road and it was great!! then we rode 26 & 260. We were doing great and then Tom noticed the front tire on my Vee, ah... that the Tire was blistered.. I had just installed the rear Shinko 700 on the rear last Friday nite at Tom [ jackpiner57 Tom will load the photos of the tire later ] so we stopped at Big4 Motor Sports where we tried to get a new front tire ..no dice but the Parts Manager was able to get one lined up for us in Athens @ the BMW Dealer. Marvin was great to deal with and was real sorry he couldn't install it for me, but he was greatat getting the Suzuki shop in Jackson, where Mike was gracious enough to step out from his Job as Service Manager to turn the wrenches and run the changer to help out a rider on the road...All of these shops were great to deal with .. I was able to get back on the road with minimum hassle [ mostly the hassle was the friggin Garmin Nuvi350 that has a tendency to route in circles]
As stated before More to come...

Good to hear you got stuff sorted out. Looks like a fun trip, know all those roads very well!

Never met a dog I didn't like, a machine I couldn't break, or a woman I couldn't tick off.

Talking Home Again!

Wow, after 9 days and 2,546 miles . 1 new front tire and countless stops for food, fuel , water & snacks I arrived back at home this morning @1:05 am..
Unbelievable roads, met some great people, had some enjoyable camping and best of all 3 Hours of rain in 10 days . Tom [ jackpiner57] Steve his brother, and myself did the Wild Hogs take on the Bikers thing in W.Va. where the Walking of the Bikes annual choke the road extravaganza went on .. And that was the only down side of the trip... at least for me .. Pic's and more info as time allows...

Cool Fubared My Nikon

Yep, My Little Nikon L4 camera decided to pretend to record the Pics I was taking of the trip jackpiner57 & I took. We went to Ohio, W.Virginny, and Pennsylvania .. 300 images and 260 some were Broken Image files... Frack!!! tried to recover them but no use.. ... Oh well I remember the places we went, and It was great to finally go on a long trip with the Vee-Strom.. .. Cant wait till next year for the next big trip[with a new camera]....looking like N.C., Tn., Ky.,Mo., Ks., for the focal points? Well, I'll have to decide this winter time enough then ...
