Around here, we spend 20 minutes on the interstate, hop off onto the country roads south of the city, then end up working our way south and blatting around the many twisty roads in Southern Indiana. Look at a map from Martinsville south, all the way to the Ohio river -- Bloomington, Bedford, Nashville, etc. If you turn on the terrain layer in Google maps you'll see where the hills are. There are some absolutely grand twisties down there.
As you well know, northern Indiana is a flat wasteland for the likes of us. There's some decent scenery and such up in Michigan, and Wisconsin west of Madison is fantastic moto country, but Chicago is in the way...
