"Riding Course", Rosemount, MN
"Uncle Dave" and I rode this class today, beginner level. WOW!!!
If you ever wanted to finely hone your riding skills, sign up for this class. There are still some openings for September, and a ladies only class in August.
The class isn't just taught in a parking lot, rather it's on a police car training course, a closed track probably 1-2 miles long- curves, twisties, straights...
The guys who teach this class are racers. But, did you know that some of the same skills that are taught in the MSF basic classes are pretty much the same skills racers use on the track, just VERY much refined? Staying safe on the road is all about mastering the basics, and boy are these folks going to get you that much closer.
Worth every penny! And no, you do not need to be a racer to attend. I'm the farthest from that. (They've trained Gold Wings, HD, etc.) They aren't teaching you how to race, they are teaching you how to use and sharpen the skills necessary to give you the edge out on the road to stay alive to ride another day. And if you enjoy strafing the canyon walls out in the back 40, you'll really appreciate what these guys will teach you.
