Tire Spooning in MN

Anyone in the MN metro area know how to spoon on a tire? I'm trying to go to the darkside and can't get the tire on (it's the proper size). So far all I've done is scratched up my rim and swore a lot. I can pay.

Put real tire mounting lube (Ruglide or equal) on the beads. Put one bead over the rim. Notice the depressed center section of the rim. Get the other bead over the rim for half the way 'round, squeeze the beads together, and get them down into that depressed center of the rim so you can move the tire off-center and get the bead on the far side over the rim. Clamping or strapping the beads together might help.

There is a guy in Coon Rapids off of Foley Blvd & Egret that may be able to help. He charges $20 first tire, $10 for each additional off the bike. Mounted and balanced. Not sure if he does "dark side" work. He is a racer and has a panel truck with shop in it. Nice guy to work with. TrackSide Labs is the name of his gig and you can google for his website and contact info.

I got a dealer to mount it. I'll keep trackside in mind for the next one.
