Put real tire mounting lube (Ruglide or equal) on the beads. Put one bead over the rim. Notice the depressed center section of the rim. Get the other bead over the rim for half the way 'round, squeeze the beads together, and get them down into that depressed center of the rim so you can move the tire off-center and get the bead on the far side over the rim. Clamping or strapping the beads together might help.
"Older people who are reasonable, good-tempered, and gracious will bear aging well. Those who are mean-spirited and irritable will be unhappy at every period of their lives.
"Let each of use properly whatever strengths he has and strive to use them well. If he does this, he will never find himself lacking."
Marcus Tullius Cicero
