Tank guards, pain protectors, '14 DL1000

Hey folks! Just finished an awesome ride around the ADKs and Montreal. Came back and noticed the paint on my '14 DL1000 has some serious scuffs from my Aerostitch Darien pants. I am heartbroken but I should have know. It can be fixed. I am looking for a paint guard film or protector to keep it from getting worse!

What have you used?
What do you recommend?

Thank you!!!

I started a similar thread today:

On recommendation from a forum member I called my Suzuki dealer and they have three different kinds for our DL1000. Full tank clear, half tank clear and half tank grained black. I ordered the grained black for better traction. It should fit right under the lower black streaks from the yellow XT scheme. Here's the pictures from their catalog.

The good news is that they quoted me $10 each.

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Created a paper template and cut equal pieces out of that film. Took a bit of patience to apply, but has been on for nearly a year now. It's just about completely invisible and has done a great job protecting the tank. Had to beat for $12.
