Not enough info provided as to why you are asking about the chain. If it is the original chain from new, consider changing the chain plus sprockets as a set. Many prefer using the DID X-ring chain, while other are finding the EK chain and master link easier to install. Make use of the search facility on this site, examples of hits,, Perhaps use the wording chain master link, as chain could be confusing.. cam chain vs drive chain or the wording sprockets.

I have been running DID Chain 525 ZVMX chains (I have a K6 Wee), from the Sprocket Center. I change the front sprocket with the chain, as it is usually starting to hook. I get longer use out of the rear sprocket.

Last chain lasted for 34,000+ miles. I lube at the end of the riding day while the chain is warm when traveling, and every couple of hundred miles when just riding around the area. I never clean the chain (the V-Tom Method).

Big Boy likes this.
