Extra wire crap.....

I fully admit I have committed one of the cardinal sins of wrenching. I have a wire connector and don't know where it goes....

I removed the radiator while changing the spark plugs to poke around and clean a little. When putting it back together is when I saw it. A wire connector not plugged in to something. I looked and looked and can't find where it goes. It is not used?.....

It is a two wire connector with orange and black and is in the same loom as the large yellow connector.

Anyone have an idea where it goes or is it not used?....

Thanks for any help!

Chris

Might be helpful if you posted what year and model bike you have.

I agree with nvr2old. The heated grips connector.
It is wired to power on with the key so if you ever decide to fit a GPS or phone mount go there for your power.

My heated grip connector was white ('13 DL650). It was taped tightly to the larger harness down low on the left side behind the radiator.

Later models seem to have a white connector. https://www.stromtrooper.com/dl650a-...-location.html Post#4.

Thanks everyone that was very helpful. Sorry about not posting the year and model I thought it showed up since I put it in my profile. I'll remember that next time.
