Can you go to a bike accessories store and try some top boxes or will you need to buy on line (no local store)?

H&B 52l

My Hepco & Becker Journey 52l top case will hold my Shoei RF-SR(xxl) and Bell Mag 9 (xxl). No room to spare tho.

I have a Shad SH49 which just barely fits two helmets.

If you are looking for the aluminum square/rectangular shaped boxes like the Givi Trekker Outback or Kappa (also made by Givi but a little less expensive), you need the 58 liter box to fit two full-face helmets. In the links below, if you click on item description, it will tell you the 58L boxers will fit two full-face helmets. FYI, the next size down (in that shape/style), the 48L, will fit one full face and one "jet" helmet (modular, I think?? Don't quote me). I just got the Kappa 48L Kve48a, https://www.motostorm.it/en/accessor...pa-kve48a.html so let me know if you are looking for any dimensions. But the Kappa Kve48a rectangular style is too small for your two full face helmets.

Can't speak for the rounded top cases because I didn't research those.

My Shad SH45 will take two helmets on their opposing sides. Tested with my Shoei RF-SR and my girlfriend's LS2. Very nice case and super simple to mount with their mounting bracket for the DL650.

Ultimately depends on the shell size of the two helmets in question.
Givi, R-Jays or Bestem oval shaped top boxes, I wouldn’t get anything less than 52 litres in capacity.
It looks big, but you get used to it and 52 litres is good for one helmet and a 3/4 length riding jacket when solo (not to mention a slab of coldies on the way from the pub to the rally site......)
