Turn signal wiring harness location

I have an '09 Wee and I just bought the smart turn system (auto cancelling turn signals). I need to splice in to the wiring for the turn signals and then splice in for switched power for their control box. I followed the wiring harness coming out of the signal switch box on the left handle bar until it enters under the fuel tank. I can't seem to find any information online that shows the pathway of the wiring harnesses. I have a feeling I made need to remove the fuel tank to find it, but I thought I'd ask around before I start taking stuff apart unnecessarily.

Assuming you worked this out sithdad. I'm putting in the same system now myself and would appreciate info on how you did it, if you wouldn't mind sharing. Including wire colours if you remember.

I just posted my experience with this system over in the 2017+ 650 forum. For that model I had to remove the tank, not sure about previous versions.
