Kick stand shorter???

Due to my 31" inseam, I had to lower my Vee 3/4". Now it seems to stand up very straight and when I'm a slight incline it wants to fall over.
Seems like cutting 3/4" off my kick stand solve my problem. Has anyone else done / tried this?
Thanks, deOldfart

This may be an option to shortening your kickstand and is easily reversed.

I found a used side stand, chopped it, and kept the old one just in case I ever want to put it back to stock.

I have a Vee with a chopped side stand from the PO.

I'd be willing to swap it with your stock length, since I've been looking for one for a while.

Let me know!

I lowered my wifes wee 3/4" so I can answer this one. I had a machine shop cut 1" off the stand and insert a rod inside for strength and weld. cost me 20.00. 3/4" cut off will not be enough. the 1" was about right.

at stock height, my Vee leaned waaay more than it needed too, when I lowered it, it was about right without touching the side stand
