Headlight adjustment

I have a 08 Wee and wanted to know which adjuster moves the headlight higher or lower and which way to turn the adjuster and the same for right to left? Thanks in advance.

I would have to look at my owner's manual to check. (Haven't looked at my 2006 for a few years.) I do want to say that you should make sure to "sync" the headlights when you are adjusting them.

Basically adjust one by masking or disconnecting the other and then do the same to the other one. Make sure they both are at the same level. After that you can easily keep them in sync by giving both the same number of turns of the nut.

2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 175,000+ km, 108,500+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

The vertical adjuster is below and inboard of the light and the horizontal adjuster is above and outboard of the light. They are right hand thread captured screws. The bottom ones pull the bottom down to lower the light when turned clockwise. The outboard ones pull the light to the outside when turned clockwise. Each pushes in the opposite direction when turned counter clockwise.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
