Three steps to finish the conversion between MKV and DTS AC3

"Whenever surfing in the Internet, I always come across the problem like this 'My TV plays MKV formats via USB, but it won't do the whole DTS audio, I've got all these great movies and I can’t hear them, so I need to convert the audio to AC3." In order to help solve the problem, I've searched and found an easier solution as follows and hopefully it will be helpful for you.

The software you will use is Moyea MKV Converter for Mac. It allows users to convert MKV files or streams to other common video/audio formats such as MP3, AC3, AAC, WAV, OGG, WMV, AVI, MPEG, MP4, MOV, WMA, M4A, VOB, SWF, FLV, and etc, for playback on popular devices like iPod, PSP, iPhone, Apple TV, Popcorn, Xbox 360, and so on. What’s new in this program? To begin with, it is capable of converting batches MKV files up to 2 times faster in comparison with the previous version and counterparts’ software. Moreover, it adds “Deinterlacing” function and Simple Gauss Blur effect to “Editor” interface, which can definitely remove the interlacing noises or videos, so as to further ensure the HD video. Above all, when choosing AC3 or AAC audio, people can easily get 5.1 channel surround sound, a standard sound format found on most DVDs and CDs.

To my surprise, there are totally three steps to finish the task of converting MKV with DTS sound to AC3 with 5.1 channels.
Step One: Load MKV files with DTS sound into this program.
Step Two: Specify output format from the drop-down menu of Format, and click “Settings” button to set video Codec as H.264, audio Codec AC3, and audio Channels 5.1.
Step Three: choose destination folder and hit “Click” button to start the conversion. Once the conversion is completed, you will get the AC3 audio.

If you are a window user, you are recommended to use Moyea MKV Converter.

Best of luck!
