HEY LOOK! There is a V-Strom I wonder who it is? Post your V-Strom sightings here. For example. I-70 West of Indy April 7. Red and Black Wee-Strom. Who was it?

Silver Wee on #219, Parsons, West Virginia

Kayakman and myself spent last week riding around WV. On Wed the 3rd we were doodling down #219, about to stop in Parsons for breakfast, when I noticed there were two sets of bike headlights behind me instead of just one. The bike passed me then turned into a business in Parsons.
When we stopped to eat, Kayakman mentioned it had been a VStrom and he thought that the rider was taking photos of him.

Anyone from here?

Maybe. Does he win anything?

Now, if you're talking about the guy on a blue 650 with aluminium boxes and a white helmet riding too close to the lead rider while taking pictures over his shoulder...... I don't know anything about him. (other than the fact that he was late for work and hopes you enjoyed your West Virginia visit)

Pics to follow.

Ahhh...yes that must be him!

The aluminum boxes caught my eye more so than the colour of your bike, as you zipped by me. We did enjoy our week in WV very much and plan to return. Looking forward to seeing the pics Neal.

Shortly after we ate that morning we had an interesting stop in Philippi to take photos at the covered bridge....and a hilarious visit to the Museum there in the old railway station. The very personable, older lady who was the curator practically dragged us by the arm around the museum, to view the displays and fill our heads with every fact about the Civil War and the history of Philippi you would ever want to know. I thought I wasn't quite understanding her WVirginian accent when she kept telling us we had to see the "mummies" and asked her to repeat the word several times before understanding she really was referring to mummies and then of course we had to see them!

I've lived here for more than 20 years and have yet to see 'em. Could go another 20 but if others can't, here's a little primer http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2930

The pics I shot of you guys on the 219 twisties are nothing but a blur. I had just come down from Olsen Tower and had the wrong lens selected. Oh well, maybe next time.

I'm curious as to where you guys rode for a week in West Virginia? Wish I could do the same, and I live here!
